We held a school wide Pride Day today. To start the day Mrs R read the school the story No Room for Napoleon by Adria Meserve. She had help from some great Year 6 actors to make the story come alive. This is a story about three friends, a bossy dog and only one paradise island! It also helps get the Respect message across to our children.
Our focus this term has been Respect as part of our PRIDE values. The short video below is from our Dunsandel DigiKids group (www.dunsandeldigikids.blogspot.com). In it they have asked four Year 6 children what Respect means to them.
A House Singing competition was held – each House had 40 minutes to prepare a performance of “Individuality”. This was judged and the winning house was Fyvie.
Winning House Captains with the prestigious teapot trophy!
