Term 2 underway, Duathlon and Fuel for Schools

It was great to see everyone back at school last week ready and refreshed for Term 2. There was lots of holiday stories being shared in class and in the playground. It has been great to see classes out practicing for the cross country. We will be taking the children down to the Domain on Tuesday afternoon (weather permitting) so they can walk their course and know where they have to run on Friday.

Canterbury Primary Schools Duathlon – All the very best to our Duathlon team who will compete on Wednesday at Ruapuna Raceway. Our team is Britney, Jessica, Ben, Harry, Carter, Alex, Sam and Liam. Special congratulations to Jessica who was named as the Duathlon team captain at assembly on Friday.

Fuel for Schools Programme – we have received a donation from Southfuels Ltd for the Fuel for Schools programme. Many thanks goes to Red Band Drainage, Selwyn Liquid Waste, Liam Farming Company, Catalyst Farming, JT & IF Willis Partnership, Nagra Ltd, Lewis Brocket, Burmont Holdings and Groundwater Holdings who have supported this scheme over the last 6 months.
