Well done to our Winter Sports teams who represented our school yesterday at the Zone tournament. Our teams played really well – with their practices and friendly games I could see an improvement in skill level which was great. Thank you to our coaches – Raynor Lough and Gill Happer (Netball), Kelvin Phipps and Gary Michael (Rugby) and Mr Happer (Soccer). Also thank you to those who refereed games – Jasmine Adam, Bec Marshall and Liz Righton. Our teams also appreciated the support of the parents and caregivers on the sideline.
All our teams finished 2nd in their respective sports. We wish Leeston all the best as their teams will represent the Ellesmere Zone at the Canterbury Primary Schools Winter Tournament.
