We had a great camp to Aoraki Mount Cook last week with our Year 6 children. Despite the weather being very poor our children (and adults) had an awesome time – highlights included:-
- Learning about Aoraki Mount Cook National Park
- Making pancakes in a Masterchef competition
- Watching the 3D movie at the Sir Edmund Hillary Museum
- Being part of Search and Rescue at DOC headquarters
- Going out on the Tasman Glacier Lake with Glacier Explorers
- Taking part in the Cook Challenge
- Seeing Aoraki Mount Cook…..only once though!!
