Cross Country and Canterbury Duathlkon

This Friday we are holding the school Cross Country at the Dunsandel Domain.

The children will be racing in the following order

1.00pm Welcome

1.05pm Year 4 Boys & Girls

1.15pm Year 3 Boys & Girls

1.25pm Year 5 Boys & Girls

1.45pm Year 6 Boys & Girls

2.00pm Year 2 Boys & Girls

2.10 pm Year 1 Boys & Girls

Pre-schoolers Race to follow at conclusion of the above races.

· Please note that the times stated above are only approximate times.

· Could you please ensure your child has suitable footwear for running.

· All children will be walking down to the domain.

· If the weather forces a postponement of this event there will be a message on the website, the school phone line and through the text message service

· We require helpers with directing and encouraging the children at various points around the course. Please fill in the form below and return to the school office by Wednesday 6^th May if you are able to help.

· For those parents who volunteer, an information pack will come home by Thursday 7^th May.

Duathlon – Well done to our Duathlon team who gave their races everything last Thursday. Thank you to Mr Happer for being a helper on the course and to parents/caregivers who got our children and their bikes to Raupuna Raceway. In particular special congratulations to Emma who finished 4^th overall in the 9 year old girls race – an awesome achievement!
