Term Four...World Cup, Choir, Athletics and ipads

Term Four is underway....everyone enjoyed the All Blacks win at the Rugby World Cup.

Our senior choir performed at the Canterbury Primary Schools Music Festival last Wednesday - they represented our school with PRIDE.

We held our school athletics on Friday in perfect conditions. Our children participated with determination and PRIDE. I was impressed with the way our children supported one another. There was some great competition between the age groups.

All our classes have ipads to use - this has been possible through the PTA fundraising venture. We have also been successful with an application to the Canterbury Community Trust which will allow us to add to these in the not to distant future. The feedback from our children has been extremely positive and from what I've seen in classes the ipad engages children in their learning which can only be a positive thing. We will continue to develop our use and ideas with ipads as time progresses.
