Country Day 2014

Country Day is almost here...the children and staff are certainly looking forward to this day.
Please have animals at school by 10:45am - judging will start at 11:00am.
If at any stage after judging, your pet is showing signs of distress, please feel free to take it home.
If you have entered the PTA Family Bake a Cake Competition please have cakes to school by 10:30am for judging. The auction will take place at approximately 12:45pm during lunchtime.
Dunsandel School Country Day Timetable
PETS TO BE AT SCHOOL BY 10:45 AM PLEASE
9:00-10:00am Children making Miniature Scene and/or Fruit/Vegetable Creation.
Sand for Miniature Scenes can be taken from the school sandpit, as can little sticks, stones, branches etc. Please ensure your child has a rough ‘plan' of what they are planning to create.
Year 1-3 children choose either a Miniature Scene or Fruit/Vegetable Animal.
Year 4-6 children to complete both a Miniature Scene and Fruit/Vegetable Creation
11:00 am- Judging done of pets and classroom activities.
12:00-12:45pm Lunch - opportunity to view art, handwriting and Pet Projects in the hall.
12:45pm - PTA Bake a Cake Auction.
This year the theme is Rural New Zealand.
1:15pm - Dog Obstacle Race, Lamb Drinking Race, Calf Drinking Race.
2:15pm - Grand Parade.
The pie warmer won't be operating on Friday- although bring a gold coin donation and grab a sausage from the PTA BBQ.
We will do our best to keep to the times listed here. We intend to have our Country Day rain or shine.
