Winter Tournament Sports – Our netball, rugby and soccer played at Southbridge last Thursday. Our teams played really well and all recorded wins. Thank you to our supporters and to those who provided transport. This Thursday we host teams from Leeston Consolidated School.
I would like to thank parents and caregivers for their support over the term. It has been a long term – I know the children are looking forward to their break. Next term we will have 7 classrooms in operation which is exciting – children who are moving from Room 1 to Room 1A received a letter earlier in the term regarding this. We will also welcome back Jane Anderson after 18 months leave – I know she is looking forward to coming back to Dunsandel School. During term 3 Miss Harrold will be Acting Principal as I will be on leave as part of a Teach NZ Primary Principals Sabbatical Study Award I was successful in winning last year. Mrs Barns will be Acting Deputy Principal during term 3. I know they will do a great job in these roles in term 3.
I trust everyone will have a safe and enjoyable holiday break.
