We had a school wide Olympic day on Friday. All our children were put into Country teams and took part in an Opening Ceremony after making their Country flag. Activities for the teams included an Olympic Quiz, a Cardboard dart Javelin competition, trying to pick the winner of the staff shotput competition, a variety of tabloid games and a World relay. A medal ceremony took place to finish the day with Japan being declared the gold medalist. Switzerland won the silver medal with Jamaica getting the bronze. Also spies were looking for children demonstrating the PRIDE values, showing a sense of fair play and a supportive attitude towards their team mates. Congratulations to Kingston , Ben and Lucy for being the recipients of the medals presented. Overall my staff and I were impressed with our children and their attitude, their sense of being part of a team and all the PRIDE values they demonstrated over the course of the day. More photos can be found on our website under the School Events tab.
